Our Story
It all started in a tiny kitchen in Portland, Oregon. What began as a weekend hobby — baking sourdough for friends
and neighbors — quickly turned into a passion we couldn’t ignore.
In 2015, we opened our doors at 742 Elm Street, Portland, OR, USA with a simple mission: bring honest, handcrafted
bread back to the neighborhood. No preservatives, no shortcuts, just real ingredients and time-honored techniques.
Our Philosophy
We source our flour from local Oregon mills, our eggs from free-range farms in the Willamette Valley, and our butter
from a small creamery just outside the city. When the ingredients are this good, you don’t need to hide behind
additives.
What We Offer

The Team
Our small team of bakers starts every day at 4 AM. By the time you walk through our doors at 6, the shelves are
stocked with warm loaves, flaky croissants, and the aroma that makes mornings worth waking up for.
